Residential DStv Installation Across Tyger Valley
Most of our Tyger Valley work is residential, and the jobs vary by house type. Freestanding homes in Protea Valley and Welgemoed usually want a clean single or dual-view setup with cable routed out of sight. Sectional title units in Bellville often connect to a communal system instead. Newer Durbanville developments have modern wiring and are quick to install. Whatever the setup, the goal is the same: a signal that holds through a Cape winter and a cable run that does not look like an afterthought.
We survey the roof or wall for the clearest line to the satellite, fit a galvanised bracket, run RG6 coaxial cable and aim with a satellite signal meter. Most Tyger Valley homes are done in 90 minutes, and we test every channel before we leave.
Two or three rooms on one dish, which suits the larger family homes around Welgemoed. We fit a dual or quad LNB, run a separate RG6 line to each point and balance the signal so no room loses picture when another is watching.
Signal loss E48-32, decoder freezing, smart card error E143-0 and LNB failure all come through our Tyger Valley route. We meter at the dish and at the decoder to isolate the real cause, then fix it rather than replacing parts on a guess.
Moving within the valley or to a neighbouring suburb. We remove the dish and decoder, label the cable and reinstall at the new address with a fresh alignment. If the new complex has a communal system, we connect you to it instead of mounting a second dish.
- A signal that holds through wind and rain, not just on a clear day.
- Cable routed neatly and clipped, so it does not hang loose across the roof.
- A 12-month workmanship warranty on the installation and the alignment.
