Residential DStv Installation in Plankenberg
Most of our Plankenberg work is residential. Families want a stable picture in the lounge and a second decoder in the bedroom, and they want it installed without cables running across the floor. Older homes here often need new RG6 coaxial cable because the original run has perished, while newer builds need a clean install that keeps the dish out of sight where possible. We handle everything from a single Explora setup to a dual view installation for a household with two TVs. If you are moving in, we can also relocate your existing dish and decoder from your old address.
A standard Plankenberg install with a new dish, bracket, LNB and RG6 coaxial cable run to one TV. We align the dish with a compass and inclinometer and confirm the signal with a meter before we leave. Most homes are watching within three hours.
For Plankenberg households with more than one TV, we install a multi-output LNB and separate cable runs to each decoder. Everyone watches their own channel without affecting the others. We test each outlet individually so no screen is left with a weak signal.
If your decoder freezes or shows E143-0, we test it on site. Many faults are repairable, and if not, we supply a replacement Pace or Telefunken unit and transfer your viewing card. We also check the signal feed so the new decoder is not inheriting an old problem.
Moving within Plankenberg or to a nearby suburb? We remove your dish, seal the old mounting points, and reinstall and re-align at the new address. Your decoder and viewing card move with you, and we confirm the signal at the new property before we finish.
- Upfront pricing before we start, with no callout fee surprises on the invoice.
- We carry common LNBs, connectors and decoders on the van for same-day fixes.
- Every install ends with a signal test, so you know the picture is stable before we leave.
